黒い雨にうたれて

The tale centers on youths in postwar Hiroshima who become entangled in the illegal arms trade. The main character, an A-bomb survivor, lets his consuming hatred drive him to kill an American black marketeer. He then challenges the Americans, asking what right they have to speak of justice when they slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Hiroshima, in Nagasaki, and in the firebombing of Tokyo—questioning whether that is their idea of justice.
