Miyuu Seno is a twenty-three-year-old who failed to get into art school. She has a blueprint for her life, but it's not one she created herself. Instead, she is trapped on the "secure" path her mother has chosen for her—dictating her office job, her clothes, and even the men she dates—and it's making Miyuu more miserable with each passing day. When a final confrontation erupts between them, Miyuu leaves home, carrying only a blank canvas. She holds onto the hope that painting might somehow undo the false self she has become.
