Tousuke Rokudou starts his first year at Aomori High, a school overrun with delinquents. Because he refuses to conform, he frequently gets picked on by his classmates. His only relief comes from two other outcast friends who also long for a peaceful, bullying-free school life. That all changes when Tousuke inherits a mysterious scroll from his late grandfather, rumored to protect its owner. The instant he touches the scroll, a bright light flashes and leaves a strange mark on his forehead. Initially believing the scroll will protect him and his friends from harassment, Tousuke soon discovers it has unexpected consequences. While the bullying continues, he finds that the mark has a peculiar charm that wins over the hearts of the delinquent girls, especially Ranna Himawari, the most dangerous of them all.
