For years, she has looked up to the model Rikako and once managed to approach her idol in person. Some time later, she encounters Alice, a Persian cat, and meets Alice's owner—a photographer who also happens to be Rikako's former boyfriend. Unhappy in her marriage to a wealthy corporate executive, Rikako seeks comfort in her ex.
