Puppy dog Inunomi has been enjoying a very happy life with his affectionate master Yoshiya, who is exceptionally skilled at comprehending animals. One day, Yoshi-kun informs him that he must give him away to a close friend named Miryou. Before Inunomi can figure out why, Yoshi-kun vanishes, and Inunomi ends up with a different owner who is allergic to dogs and is actually a thief...? Note: Also featured in volume 1 of this series is the one-shot "Boku ga Ninpu datta Koro," which centers on a pregnant couple confronting the possibility of a complicated childbirth.
