Sato Yo is a high school student with a passion for SEGA games. One day he goes to a supermarket to pick up some dinner. As he reaches for a bento box, he unexpectedly loses consciousness. When he comes to, every bento is gone. Yo discovers that supermarkets are the stage for a violent competition—players known as "Wolves" fight over half-priced bento. Yarizui Sen, head of the Half-Pricer Club, forces Yo to become a member, throwing him headfirst into the bento war.
