During a stay in Las Vegas, Sydney is handed a surprise letter as she checks into her hotel. The message reads: "Sweetheart, where are you?" It has to be a mistake. Sydney is only an ordinary, plain-looking waitress, and there isn't a single boy back home who would pen such a fervent note to her. Feeling sorry for the unknown sender, who would surely end up waiting all night for someone who never shows, she decides to visit the bar named in the letter to return it. When she approaches a strikingly handsome gentleman sitting by himself, fate begins to stir for Sydney!
