After his grandfather's death, Huey receives an old mansion and its extensive library. But this inheritance carries a special duty: looking after the "Bibliotheca." While exploring the house, Huey discovers a basement filled with towering piles of books. In that maze of literature, he meets a girl named Darian, dressed in black and absorbed in reading. A large lock hangs prominently before her, marking her as the keeper of the "Bibliotheca of Dantalian," which contains the mysterious "Phantom Books."
