A stray kitten is rescued by a vampire, who gives the kitten some of their blood, turning it into a vampire cat called Nyanpire. The story follows Nyanpire's everyday experiences, such as bonding with its owner, Misaki, and playing with other cats. Nyanpire also meets two bats named Mori and Komori.

Background
Nyanpire began as a series of doujinshi, the first of which was released on May 3, 2009 at Super Comic City 18. The doujinshi were compiled into volumes published by Shufu to Seikatsu-sha from June 24, 2011 to December 6, 2013. The series was published in French by Kurokawa from September 11, 2014 to August 27, 2015.
