Set in Ancient Rome two thousand years ago, this historical romance highlights the life of the renowned naturalist Pliny the Elder through exceptional artwork. Accompanied by his friends, Pliny embarks on a quest to complete his monumental work, "Natural History," an encyclopedic account covering a vast array of natural phenomena, including volcanic activities and the habits of flora and fauna. The story unfolds as they travel north throughout the Roman Empire, recording seismic events and tidal surges along the way.

Background

Plinivs has been licensed in Spanish by Ponent Mon. The first volume is set to be released in Summer 2016. The series won Grand Prize at the 28th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize awards in 2024.
