Shinichirou takes his teacher's suggestion and seeks a housekeeping position to cover his rent. He finds work under Sakuya, the thirty-seventh leader of the Shimazu clan, whose duty is to destroy dangerous supernatural entities. When Shinichirou accidentally frees a creature that Sakuya had trapped, the two of them have to join forces to catch it again.
