Laura is barely managing to provide for her large family when her previous boss, Gabriel, makes an unexpected offer. He asks her to accompany him to Rio de Janeiro for a single night, acting as his mistress in exchange for one million dollars. The reason behind this is a company he desperately wants to acquire—but the current owner’s fiancée happens to be one of Gabriel’s former lovers. To prevent any jealousy from interfering with the business deal, he needs the unassuming Laura to pose as his girlfriend. The question remains: can they sustain the deception?
