From the day he was born until the moment he died, twenty-five-year-old Yusuke Yahagi never had any control over his own life. Even after being struck by a truck and transported to a new world, he was assigned a role he never asked for: running a dagashi-ya. However, the cheap and tasty snacks stocked in his shop are nothing like those back in Japan. From Curry Rice Crackers to Anzu Sticks, each item comes with its own unique special effects. Unfortunately, this new world has no clue what dagashi are! It falls to Yahagi to introduce them to the wonders of dagashi while building a fresh existence for himself, selling his stat-boosting treats to assist adventurers in need and winning over loyal customers—such as the energetic pink-haired Meryl, the enigmatic man in the silver mask, and perhaps even a witch or two...?
