The story follows Isamu, whose early life begins in tragedy. Orphaned as a child when his Japanese father and American Indian mother are killed by racist attackers in the Old West, he is taken in by a notorious fugitive. Due to his unique heritage combining a samurai and a Native American tracker, Isamu has the potential to become the most formidable gunslinger of the Wild West. However, he must first survive an extraordinarily harsh childhood.
