Nyaa-tan, the feline representative of Chinese astrology, dreams of becoming a member of the Chinese zodiac. With her simple-minded personality and tendency to forget things, she comes up with various ridiculous schemes to achieve her goal. On her path, she encounters Takeru Amato, a high school student living by himself in Akihabara, and ends up staying at his place as a freeloader. Gradually, she edges nearer to making her aspiration come true.
