Aku Ichibantai

This story is unrelated to the G.I. Joe franchise. In 1941, Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor brings unjust discrimination upon the second-generation Japanese Americans living in Hawaii. Joe, one of those second-generation Japanese Americans, is sent to a juvenile reformatory by a unreasonable policeman. As the war grows more severe, the U.S. military, anxious over its shortage of soldiers, forms a plan to send the Japanese-American boys in the reformatory to the front lines as soldiers. An American captain then appears before Joe and his friends, and their hellish military training begins.
