In a future where Earth's environmental collapse has made it uninhabitable, humans reside in shielded dome cities known as Domepolises, located in a remote region of Siberia. As parts of the planet gradually recover, certain city factions seek to break free from the dominant authority that controls trade and governance in order to establish their own settlements. Gainer Sanga, a celebrated video game champion celebrating his two-hundredth win, is unjustly imprisoned by the Siberian Railway. Afterwards, he takes control of a giant mecha, which he names King Gainer after his gaming alias, and becomes involved in battles against other Overmen while aiding the group's journey across the Siberian landscape.
