Angelique, an orphan residing at Hidamari Villa, receives aid from four allies who belong to the Orb Hunters. Together, they strive to purify the Thanatoi—evil beings that possess humans and drain their life force. Two other major factions are also fighting this threat, and some of their agents are looking into the Orb Hunters as well as a potential link to the legend of the Queen.
