In "Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note," sixth-grader Aya Tachibana, prone to constant worry and excessive thinking, finds a new sense of purpose after joining the eccentric "Tantei Team KZ" alongside four unusual boys from her cram school. The group consists of Kazuomi Wakatake, the charismatic, attention-seeking leader; Takakazu Kuroki, a mysterious expert in interpersonal relationships; Kazunori Uesugi, a quiet mathematical prodigy; and Kazuhiko Kozuka, a kind and skilled individual in social and scientific fields. Aya contributes as the team's language specialist. Despite occasional disagreements, the team leverages their unique abilities to solve contemporary mysteries.
