In a fantastical land torn by strife, four brave souls face the root of all malevolence. As despair threatens to overwhelm them, one among them defeats the enemy with a powerful incantation. Together, they confine the colossal darkness, convinced it will be lost to time. Decades later, the story focuses on the descendants of those who cast the seal. The seal depends on the joint power of two amulets. A cunning dark knight, employing deceitful schemes, acquires these artifacts to dismantle the shield concealing the ancient menace. Upon overcoming the heroes, he captures their progeny and employs the amulets to break the seal. With his demise imminent, one hero sends the young ones to another era, providing the world with a possible redemption. What destiny lies ahead for these youths? How can they overcome a foe their parents could only restrain? Who is this formidable evil, and what are its intentions? Their voyage through diverse, yet familiar realms will uncover the truths.
