Relish, a sinister organization bent on global conquest, has its mad scientist Dr. Takizawa attempt to create a superhuman by using a cell-restructuring device on a young man named Katagiri. The experiment, however, ends in failure. After escaping the organization, Katagiri is shocked to discover that once night arrives, his entire body turns pitch black, granting him immense strength and the power to leap to great heights. Taking on the identity of Shadowman, Katagiri begins his battle against Relish.
