In the series Magikano, Yoshikawa Haruo is an ordinary middle school student whose only real ambition is to enjoy a long life. As the oldest child, he lives with his three younger sisters after their parents went away. Unknown to Haruo, all his sisters have magic powers, and he himself has latent abilities that are about to awaken. Then a mysterious and beautiful girl named Mamiya Ayumi appears. Ayumi is a witch who wants to "turn Haruo into a man" so she can break a curse that was placed on her when she was a child. To achieve this, she becomes a maid in Haruo's house. At school, Ayumi is popular among the boys, but she is disliked by Kurusou Yuri, the strict and neat class president who has loved Haruo in secret since they were kids.
