Amalia travels to Khaleej to rescue her brother from being punished for a crime he did not commit. While there, she becomes captivated by the beauty of her homeland and loses her way. She then encounters a man who is a millionaire so notorious that his face appears on every gossip magazine cover—the King of Khaleej himself, Sheikh Zayn al-Ghamdi. Zayn, seeking to shed his playboy reputation, is in need of a bride and proposes that Amalia become his queen.
