Juri Yukawa lives with her unemployed father and brother, her retired grandfather, her older sister who is a single mother, and her young nephew. When her nephew and brother are taken hostage for ransom, Juri has only thirty minutes to meet the kidnappers' demands. Unable to gather the money in time, she decides to attempt a rescue with a knife. Her grandfather intervenes, using a mysterious family heirloom to freeze time. In a world where everything stands still, Juri, her father, and her grandfather rush to save their family. But upon reaching the kidnappers, they realize they are not the only ones moving in the frozen world.
