In "Megane no Megami," Erika is a shy, diligent high school student who wears glasses and often goes unnoticed by her more outgoing classmates. She accidentally discovers a hidden online forum where members talk about a legendary "goddess of glasses" said to grant wishes to those who deeply appreciate them. Though reluctant at first, Erika posts a wish for greater confidence. The next day, she finds an old pair of glasses in her locker. When she puts them on, she gains the ability to see people's true emotions as colorful auras. With this new power, Erika begins to understand her classmates better and slowly becomes more self-assured. However, the glasses attract the attention of a secret organization that wants to use the artifact for its own schemes. Erika now has to decide whether to use the glasses to help others or to protect herself from the looming threat.
