In 1999, Voltstein Academy, located in Nagano's Matsushiro district and nicknamed Japan's pyramid, gains notoriety for constant paranormal activity, earning it the name Occult Academy. The headmaster dedicates himself to studying the occult while students concentrate on academics. After his death, his daughter Kumashiro Maya, who despises all things supernatural, comes to the school. There she encounters Uchida Fumiaki, a self-styled "time agent" from 2012 who claims he can bend spoons. The pair deals with the academy's strange incidents and discovers the true purpose behind Fumiaki's travel to 1999.
