In "Gravitation: The Novel," the energetic young musician Shuichi Shindo serves as the lead vocalist and composer of the hugely successful pop group Bad Luck. He now resides with his older boyfriend, Eiri Yuki, a charming and famous author of romantic novels. However, Shuichi is met with various obstacles. Yuki has become inexplicably cold and cruel toward him, and the band suffers from a lack of credibility due to their frequent comedic television appearances. Furthermore, Shuichi must suddenly perform at a nationwide concert, setting Bad Luck against their intense rivals, Ask, with absolutely no preparation.
