Maki resides with a family that relies on him extensively and constantly makes demands. He finds comfort in Tasku, who seems young and incapable of handling things on their own. Maki enjoys assisting Tasku because he receives validation for his efforts and soon develops romantic feelings for the apparently younger person. Their joy is brief after Maki uncovers Tasku's true identity, causing a series of issues.
