Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on November 1, 2018. A revised and illustrated version of the series has been published by Kadokawa since September 20, 2019, under its Fantasia Bunko label. The series has been published digitally in English as Management of a Novice Alchemist by J-Novel Club since March 11, 2024.
