In the crisp autumn weather, transfer student Takisawa Noboru arrives at Honjakuniku High, following the principal's order to come an hour after school starts. What seems like a regular beginning quickly takes a turn when the strict hall monitor Jonichi Koichi docks Noboru for being late and assigns him a punishment. Since this school settles disputes through sports or physical fights, Noboru finds himself in a tight spot until the kind-hearted Yukari steps in to rescue him from more trouble. But this incident is just the beginning of Noboru's difficulties. The school's toughest delinquent, Ibuki Saburo, has targeted him for a beating and also aims to win Yukari's affection by challenging anyone interested in her to boxing matches. Can Takisawa beat Ibuki, earn Yukari's love, and still get to his Calculus class on time? Just another ordinary day for the fiery transfer student.
