Uwagaki

ウワガキ

In "Uwagaki," Terui Chiaki is fully conscious that her classmate Ajikawa Yoshio has romantic feelings for her, yet she deems him unsuitable and is already dating another boyfriend. Their mysterious teacher, Mr. Yamada, who can duplicate people and objects, decides to run an experiment. He creates a copy of Chiaki named Koaki, who is oblivious to Chiaki's existing relationship. Yoshio then pursues Koaki, trying to win her affection. The plan stipulates that after a set period, the original and the duplicate will merge, with the stronger emotional bond determining the outcome. Initially certain that Yoshio stands no chance, both Chiaki and Koaki find their viewpoints shifting as the experiment progresses.
