In the near future, a revolutionary new form of psychotherapy called PT has been created. Through the DC Mini device, it operates as a dream detective, entering people's dreams to delve into their unconscious minds. But before the government can pass a bill endorsing this advanced psychiatric technology, one of the prototypes is stolen, causing an uproar at the research facility. In the wrong hands, the device could be catastrophically misused, giving the user the power to completely destroy a sleeping person's personality. Seeking to identify the mastermind behind the scheme to sabotage the invention, famed scientist Dr. Atsuko Chiba enters the dream world with her exotic alter ego, code name "PAPRIKA."
