Hana ni Tohitama e

Chihaya faces many hardships and finds it hard to get by, having known little true happiness. She lives with a mother who is often absent and a father who drinks heavily. To survive, she does various part-time jobs. One day, she inadvertently knocks over the cane of Ichitarou, a blind man. Despite his blindness, Ichitarou is filled with an infectious joy and takes it upon himself to bring light into Chihaya’s life, urging her to see the world from a new perspective.

Background

Hana ni Toitamae was "serialized" on Amazon, with new chapters being added to a single Kindle ebook every month. The series was published in French by Pika Édition under the Pika Graphic label on June 7, 2017.
