Koshiro and Nanoka are siblings separated by a twelve-year age gap, raised apart after their parents divorced. The narrative begins when fifteen-year-old Nanoka relocates to Tokyo to live with her father and her brother, Koshiro, now twenty-eight and employed in the matchmaking business. Their initial encounter takes place on a train, where Koshiro hands back a dropped commuter pass to Nanoka, creating an immediate yet unvoiced rapport. They later cross paths again near an amusement park and wind up on a spontaneous date. While riding a Ferris wheel, they share their recent romantic difficulties with each other. Koshiro becomes tearful, and Nanoka comforts him, causing Koshiro to become aware of his strong attraction to her. When they go home, they meet their father and discover the reality of their sibling relationship. The story explores Koshiro's emerging romantic feelings for Nanoka, his inner struggle against social conventions, and Nanoka's journey into adulthood as she deals with her own developing emotions toward her brother.
