Asagiri Kanna has spent sixteen years enduring suffering and difficulty. Even so, her sole living relative—her mother—keeps a strange distance from her. On her sixteenth birthday, a demon named Shizuma Mitsuaki appears and tells Kanna that she is fated to become a demon's bride. He brings her to Kigasato High School, a school that exists only for demons. There, she finds out that her fiancé is Kitou Kaki, the supreme ruler of the demon realm, and he is clearly displeased that she has arrived.
