Two high school boys exist at rock-bottom without even realizing it, complete opposites not just in appearance: Sakuraba is a cold honor student, while Fujieda is a hotheaded troublemaker. They love to hate each other, as the saying goes, but following the story through Fujieda's perspective reveals what might be simmering underneath. When their siblings marry, the two become bound together, and side by side they shield each other from gangs and the future. The second volume includes two extra stories. Kan no Naka no Watashi no Kedamono is a psychological tale set within the strict security of a yakuza compound. Indigo Blue: Koga and Shiba never quite fit into Japan's ordered system, so they leave the country. We meet them again four years later in Mexico City. One final dirty job, and they'll have enough money to retire to that Caribbean island with the sky of indigo blue.
