Left all alone after being orphaned, young Faith spent a summer with Philip, a kind and wealthy old gentleman. It was there that she met his son Nash, and she fell in love for the first time. Yet her joy comes to a sudden end when burglars invade Philip's home, and he dies of a heart attack. Faith is blamed for what happened and ends up in prison. Nash refuses to believe in her innocence, and she loses everything. Ten years later, Faith returns to the house as an architect for a renovation project and comes face-to-face with Nash again.
