His strategy is to obtain Dark Matter from souls condemned to hell by demonstrating their innocence. Yet his naturally kind-hearted nature often leads him to use Dark Matter to protect these souls when Shinigami appear to claim them, which hinders his goal of collecting enough Dark Matter.
