This manga follows Ryokuta Hanazawa, a high schooler whose presence is so faint that even his classmates rarely notice him. Seated beside him is Shio Mizuno, one of the school's most brilliant and gifted girls. One day, he happens upon Mizuno in a secluded corner of a nearby park, where she's filming herself dancing in a mask and costume. Ryokuta learns that Mizuno posts these dance clips online under the alias Smile. Inspired, he decides to start making his own anonymous dance videos as a way of self-expression, shooting them in his own room.
