Jinki: Extended

Akao Hiiragi resides in Japan without any memory of her past from three years ago. She encounters a mysterious figure named Ryouhei, who informs her that she is a "cognate"—a person granted the ability to operate special robots called Jinki. Around the world, a strange event known as the "Lost Life Phenomenon" is occurring, in which entire towns disappear due to inexplicable explosions resembling nuclear blasts. Akao learns that these events are not natural disasters but rather orchestrated by a malicious organization called the Hachishoujin, composed of other cognates who pilot their own Jinki. Despite her reluctance to fight, Akao must learn to control a Jinki to safeguard those she cares about.

Jinki:Extend had three volumes published in English by ADV Manga from July 27, 2004 to November 23, 2004 before the license was dropped and the publisher went defunct.
