Kore ga Mahōtsukai no Kirifuda

The veteran swordsman Rix, thoroughly exhausted by the endless bloodshed on the battlefield, pretends to die in combat and withdraws from fighting. He decides to start fresh by enrolling in the Magic Institute, even though he possesses no magical ability whatsoever. However, Rix still manages to overpower the mages using nothing but his fundamental swordsman skills! Though unintentional, he keeps shattering every bit of common sense within the institute. In the process, he catches the attention of the Empress, who becomes intrigued by his combat prowess— Wait, no! I keep telling you, I have no interest in becoming the strongest or anything like that! All I want is a "peaceful and happy life"!
