During the Warring States Period, an era where only the strong endured, a man wearing a fox mask lives alone in a shrine hidden deep in the mountains. The villagers shun him as a "fox spirit," but they are ignorant of the true reason for his presence there. The soul of the samurai and what he must protect. The outward form may shift, but duty remains unchanging.
