Baiyaku Kakeba-chou Kuzuryu

Kutouryuu, a traveling medicine seller who kept a kakeba-cho (a customer list used by medicine peddlers) with a kutouryuu depicted on its cover, occasionally took on troublesome cases as "baiyaku" (purchase) while journeying across lands. His true purpose is to unravel the mystery of his own origins. The sole hint he has is a metal fronting stamped with "Kutouryuu" on a cigarette case. Hoping to find someone who recognizes that name, Kutouryuu keeps moving forward on his travels.
