On the Parallel Planet, a floating world suspended between the sky and the sea, the story unfolds across twelve distinct realms arranged like the numbers on a clock. At the center stands the Needle Tower—also called World Zero—where time stands still. Each of these twelve worlds is guarded by a protector known as a Great Child (G.C.), with an energetic companion called a spirit assigned to help fight the Monster Troublemakers. Bucky, a seemingly ordinary boy living in the first world, has a focused ambition to dominate the entire planet, and he is ready to risk everything to achieve it. In a fateful meeting, Bucky encounters Spark, the Great Child of Primas (World One), who is recognized as the strongest of all Great Children. Spark, looking for a successor, quickly decides after a brief conversation that Bucky is suitable. Thus, Bucky himself becomes a Great Child and gains Jibaki, his world's spirit. In this new capacity, Bucky starts a journey through the twelve worlds, driven by his dream to dominate, while assembling a group of allies he considers his personal slaves.
