By 2016, the Australian metropolis of Miliopolis is overwhelmed by rampant gang activity and crime. In response, the government establishes the MPB Task Force, dubbed Cerebus, which recruits children with physical disabilities and equips them with advanced prosthetics, turning them into formidable agents. The unit's leading operatives are three teenage girls operating under the codenames Suzutsuki, Kagerou, and Yugiri. Armed with state-of-the-art technology and combat skills, they strive to eradicate the criminal forces terrorizing the city.
