Kenichi Tottori, a highly skilled veterinarian known by the nickname Dolittle, is famous for demanding payment upfront from pet owners despite his undeniable talent. His dedication to animals frequently also involves assisting their owners. The story begins when Asuka Tajima seeks his help for her racehorse, Asuka Mirai, which has suffered a broken leg. She agrees to the steep cost of the surgery but is surprised by the severe pain the horse will endure during its recovery.
