High school student Madoka is recruited by Nabeshima, who wears a bunny costume, to join the GSG (Gokuraku So Gei)—a service that transports lost spirits to the afterlife. Overwhelmed by his workload, Nabeshima enlists Madoka because of her unique ability to sense lingering souls. Her job involves guiding these spirits to the next world using a motorcycle. However, many of the spirits resist moving on because they believe they have unfinished business in the living world. Madoka helps them complete these tasks, which allows them to find peace and transition to the afterlife. Background

Omukae desu. was serialized in LaLa magazine from March 1999 to March 2002 issue. In commemoration of the series getting a drama TV adaptation, serialization resumed in the April 2016 issue after the series took 14-year hiatus. The first five volumes were published in English by CMX Manga from August 1, 2006 to August 30, 2007.
