Empire of the Ant is a fantasy story set in a nation ruled by a single queen ant. In this society, social ranks are determined by physical structure: commoner "work ants" perform assigned jobs, while "army ants" hold important titles like knight under the queen. The story begins when a commoner boy named Lulya, who works at a drugstore while being sniffed, is imprisoned in a castle prison for some unknown reason.
