Fumiya Saotome, the "Raging Newspaper Reporter" at Akatsuki Newspaper, has been transferred to the archive department and is now under house arrest. When a homeless man is murdered, Bunya offers assistance to a junior reporter named Hikaru while continuing to look into the case quietly. Although other media outlets report that the culprit is an ex-boxer, Fumiya identifies a suspect independently.
