A decade after the introduction of augmented reality glasses and visors connected to the internet, Yūko Okonogi moves with her family to Daikoku City, the hub of this half-virtual society. She joins her grandmother's "investigation agency," a team of kids who use advanced virtual tools and powerful metatags. There, she meets Yūko Amasawa, a skilled hacker in the digital world, who is determined to solve the mystery of a computer virus that comes from an inaccessible, corrupted zone.
